FAW Fan Ambassadors Make Debut in World Cup Play-Off
Thanks to the support of the Fan Experience Company, Cardiff City FC Foundation and Urdd Gobaith Cymru, those attending Cymru’s historic 2022 FIFA World Cup play-off semi-final against Austria will be welcomed by our new FAW Ambassadors team.
Made up of local volunteers, students and the Fan Experience Company team, the Ambassadors’ aim will be to welcome you, answer your questions and make sure you don’t miss out on any of the magic planned for what we hope will be a historic occasion for Welsh football.
Highly visible in their bright pink fleeces, you will find our FAW Ambassadors at Cardiff Central Railway Station and in the immediate stadium vicinity.
Mark Bradley, of the Fan Experience Company, explained about the initiative: "This is not just a one-off, but part of a commitment to expand and improve the experience at future international match days. We want those who love Welsh football to feel valued when they come to support our teams."
The FAW Ambassadors Team will also be at the FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifier on Friday 8 April when Cymru take on France at Parc y Scarlets.
