‘Atithi Devo Bhava’

This translates from the Sanskrit as ‘the guest is God’. It’s a guiding principle for those working in hospitality in India and, as a consequence, a natural asset for sports businesses there who see the value of engagement.

As the sport of cricket in India continuously reinvents itself and changes, opportunities to attract and engage new audiences of fans are abundant. The Fan Experience Company has partnered with One by Two Entertainment, a sports and entertainment business based in the country, to explore how Indian cricket might make the most of these new opportunities to grow. Just last week, MD Mark Bradley travelled to Lucknow to talk fan experience with Indian Premier League club Lucknow Super Giants and their head of marketing Saptarshi Bakshi. While walking around the Ekana Stadium, discussions centred on how to enhance the game day experience for what is always a sell-out crowd.

Following on from our work at the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar and the opening of our first overseas office in New Zealand, this collaboration expands our international presence.

Mark would like to thank Anant Arora, Varun Gandhi & Aditya Taware from OBT.  Not only did he get to visit Lucknow, but in every kind moment and unforgettable experience, that guiding principle was very present.
